The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University invites applicants for a tenure stream assistant professor position in experimental high energy physics.

We expect to fill the position at the assistant professor level although a more senior appointment may be considered for exceptional individuals.

Candidates should have post-doctoral experience, a clear record of research achievement and a strong interest in teaching. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in preparations for physics analysis involving the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider now being commissioned at CERN.
